Here we have one of the third generation Corvettes known as a C3. This being the convertible makes it the rarest full production model. Please note this age of Corvette has the front and back bumpers in chrome as standard. Shortly after that, they were all colour coded with the car.

This example has the even rarer Factory Hardtop with it. This is away in storage photos to follow later. The beautiful colour of green is complemented by the black leather seats and the car is stunning throughout. It started life in the U.S.A. until it was purchased by a German collector who wanted it for his large collection.

It was not used very often and one of our clients had the opportunity to purchase it. The mileage of 34787 is believed to be correct as it sat in Germany for many years. We can not substantiate this, as the history has been lost whilst in storage.

However, the condition of the car underneath is outstanding which is a good indication on mileage. When it came to England from its deep sleep, we were instructed to go through it mechanically, which we did, renewing many perished items where it had been standing for so long.

So, we have known the car for several years and we have regularly maintained it for our client. The engine and gearbox are very smooth, and the car pulls very well. Also, power brakes give it that stopping confidence. It does have that tight feel of a low mileage example.
