Whilst all Mustangs, particularly Convertibles, will always draw attention this particular example does this in a rather unique way.
No Candy Apple Red or Springtime Yellow paint here screaming “Look at Me!” but a much more conservative colour combination that wouldn’t look out of place at the Burleigh Horse Trials or on the drive of an English Country Manor House.
That being said,a this gorgeous Classic Mustang will still be the envy of all who appreciate 60’s American design.

That so desirable R Code is present in the chassis number denoting its Californian heritage and this is further backed up by Blue California License Plates which tells it has been registered in CA continuously since at least 1972 and very likely all its life.
Our ramp inspection absolutely confirmed this as the entire underbody is as solid and original as the day it left the San Jose factory and it is clear that a very nicely executed restoration has been carried out.
The last owner had bought the Mustang as a gift for his new wife and as she had recently also acquired a new Tesla the Convertible had seen less and less use. Accordingly we were able to agree a purchase, so thank you Elon!

Christopher informed us that the car had been extensively restored prior to his purchase and this is evident in all areas of the car.
The internal finish of the boot area is very very good and under the bonnet the refreshed V8 is presented in show quality condition.
The engine compartment has been the subject of meticulous work and looks as good if not better than when it was first built.
Sitting in the car it is clear that a similar approach has been taken here and all the upholstery, carpets and door cards are absolutely beautiful.
The new Steering wheel perfectly completes the picture and has a lovely feel to the touch with its highly polished wooden rim.
Obviously as can be seen from the images the paint finish is very high end, the panels are exceptionally straight and all the panel gaps are even, giving this Classic Mustang Convertible it’s envious, almost aristocratic appearance.
