This beautiful ‘65 A Code Mustang was imported into the U.K. in 2015 and became the passion of a professional Race Driving Instructor by the name of Nick.

Being a discerning car guy Nick knew he had bought a Californian built Mustang that was a really solid example as it carried the very desirable ‘R’ build code from the San Jose factory in California.

This with the equally desirable engine code ‘A’ denoting a Four Barrel set up Nick set about bringing the Classic Muscle Car up to the exceptional standard that you see today.

The 289 V8 now features Edelbrock Performer RPM Cylinder Heads, Intake and a Comp Cam with Roller Rockers, plus a new Four Barrel Holley carburettor and these modifications, along with top quality MSD electronic ignition, give much higher brake horsepower, modern reliability and best of all, a fabulous exhaust note from the Stainless Steel system.

As a race driving instructor, it wouldn’t be proper to own a performance car without a manual transmission, and indeed the four-speed Toploader is present here to give the driver maximum smiles to the mile!

In addition to the incredible level of extra equipment, Nick invested heavily in attention to detail, and the engine compartment has been restored and detailed to show standards. The paint and body are in equally good condition, and this is set off correctly by the gorgeous white interior.

The car comes with a file of invoices to substantiate all the work listed above, plus additional works to suspension, brakes and trim, making this a very sound candidate for the buyer looking for a Classic Mustang that is turnkey ready to use and enjoy this coming season.
