This San Jose built 1966 Californian Classic Mustang hit the streets at the height of the Mustangs popularity and spent its early years in California’s sunshine before being sold to its second owner in Phoenix Arizona.

The climate in the Valley of the Sun has preserved the body in wonderful original solid condition and this attracted Robert and Larae Williams of Saint George Utah to the Muscle Car when it was offered for sale with just over 80,000 original miles.

Bob bought the sun faded Coupe and moved it to their brand-new beautiful home in Saint George, Southern Utah.

Bob had been a Fire Fighter all his life and buying the Classic Mustang fulfilled a lifetime’s ambition for him after he had retired. His wife Larae was just as keen, and they set about having their new acquisition restored and upgraded to its present condition.

The Classic Mustang was treated to new paint and a completely new interior with lots of attention to detail, the Air Conditioning System was upgraded to R134a with a new compressor, Power Disc Brakes were installed, and the Power Steering System was completely overhauled. The front GT fog lights were also fitted into the grille as was the rear GT valance with exiting exhausts. Also nicely detailed underneath the bonnet with chrome export brace and chrome air filter and Valve covers. The Mustang comes with a folder of bills and receipts, along with its UK V5 Registration, so it is ready to be enjoyed!

Bob also decided to have the engine completely rebuilt and a new Carburettor, Radiator, Water Pump and Wiring were added to the list. The car has covered less than 600 miles since the engine was rebuilt and with a host of extras including GT Fog Lights and GT Rear Valance with correct Dual Exhaust exit, this is an exceptionally attractive Classic Mustang.
