Built 2 days ahead of schedule at the San Jose Plant in Northern California on 29th November 1966, this magnificent GTA Big Block Mustang Fastback must have cut quite an image. The Mustang was at that time the worlds fastest selling Sportscar made popular instantly by its “Pony” car size and sleek sporting looks.
The Big Block S Code Fastback is now possibly one of the most iconic motor cars of all time and this series of cars were used by Carroll Shelby to build the Shelby GT 500 Mustang which are the ultimate Mustang of choice for any collector.

These S Code Fastbacks are becoming harder and harder to find and one in really good order as 144392, no worries about the body or paint with this one, the interior has a wonderful patina, and the drive is still as good as the day it was made.
The last owner has owned the car for over 15 years and during his ownership a very nice restoration has been carried out which allows the car to be shown or just enjoyed as a very attractive example of this fast-appreciating asset. The attention to detail under the bonnet is outstanding where the huge V8 sits very snugly with its chrome Valve Covers and Air Cleaner showing off the correctly restored and painted components.
