We were lucky enough to purchase this Mustang from Mr Adi Elder of Woodland Hills California who had bought the car from the family of the original owner.

On the 15th February 1968 the car was picked up new from Walker Buerge Ford Santa Monica by Mrs De lutio she used the car as her daily transport for many years until she purchased a new car. It was put into storage in their garage at home. Little did she think that the Mustang would stay there for some 28 years!

On her passing, it was left to her son whose idea was to restore IT but as happens in this life today, he never found the time. He then made the difficult decision to part with it to Mr Elder who also kept it for several years but due to relocation his dream of a restoration ended with us purchasing it thankfully.

The Mustang arrived back to us still wearing its original paint of Wimbledon White which over the last fifty years had faded considerably. It was agreed that a full repaint by our own paint shop and a full restoration would be the way forward. So back to bare metal it went, showing us what we thought an amazing solid body without any corrosion. (photographic evidence to prove).

We decided to paint it in this magnificent Dark blue/ Green which now has a glass-like finish. Interior has been upgraded throughout with new classic style comfort seating, new carpets, new dashboard, new brightwork. It has also benefitted from new front disc brake conversion, power steering and many other new parts. The chassis has also been coated by us and was found to be, like new whilst preparing it for painted not “sprayed” undersealing.

This car has been restored by us in our Mustang Workshop by our skilled mechanics and body shop experts to show standard, and we are delighted to offer this magnificent Mustang for sale.
